McConnell is the Senate minority leader, who, while pushing for changes to the economic stimulus/bailout package says that “We’ve been throwing figures around like it was paper money“.

In all fairness these are astronomical figures, the likes of which most laymen can’t comprehend: Eight-hundred billion dollars, here. A trillion dollars there. Ultimately, it’s not going to work, because inflation is never the road to prosperity.

Oh, and it is paper money, after all.
