In November, I won the Captain Capitalism chart contest. I received the award Monday. God bless the United States Postal Service. The Cap’n is a big fan of graphs, so he put $25 and an autographed picture of himself on the line for whoever submit the most interesting graph. You can see my submission, here, which I found at the Economist.com
Here’s the prize, in all it’s glory:
Aside from Kip’s accollades earlier in the week, I’ve recently been called [O]ne of the better libertarian blogs by Matt++, which I assume is some sort of new-fangled programming language. Or something. Thanks again, Kip and Matt, although I wouldn’t put myself in that category, I’m certainly grateful that other people appreciate my work.
Actually, Matt was a fellow Wayne State U student. Was, because I no longer go there. Bon chance, Matt. I’ll be enjoying 9 books (two textbooks, and 7 supplemental readings) during the next 11 weeks.
For two classes. I better love the Austrians as much as I think I do.
