Just a brief follow-up – David Friedman penned (do you still pen an article in these days of push button publishing?) titled Ideas: The King’s Friends. He adds a little historical/common law analysis to the domestic spying issue I wrote about yesterday night.
The thing to remember, which Friedman, and Kip make note of – is that it’s not the “spying” part that pisses us of — it’s the warrantless notion that our government isn’t bound by rule of law.
