Welcoming Myself Back

October 25, 2006

I have been fairly busy for the last few weeks, so for the utter lack of posting I apologize.

There was homecoming weekend at my alma mater. A slew of interviews with a slew of companies. A good friend’s wedding and concomitant celebrations last weekend, and school. Always school.

On that note, I’m doing very well. I’ve got A’s on my first exam in each of my courses (Public Finance and Macroeconomics). I just re-read Hayek’s “Serfdom” and I’m finishing The Structure of Production, by Mark Skousen for my Macro course. Good times.

And I started working again, which has been the primary impediment to my leisure-time. I’m officially, no longer on the public dole. Instead, I’m a new cube dweller in a very, very large banking &c. concern, where I will be working on import trade analysis, navigating NAFTA for automotive suppliers. Or something like that. If all goes well, I’ll probably start working towards the Customs Broker license, which I’ve heard, is not exactly a walk in the park.

In any regard, I intend to resume my regularly scheduled blogging in the very near future.
