Appetite for Destruction is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest rock albums of all time, and who am I to disagree. I literally grew up on it. In second grade, I would sit in the back of the bus with the older kids who lived down the street - one of whom had a 1G Sony Walkman with peripheral speakers. We would jam out to “Paradise City” or “Sweet Child o’ Mine” every day on the way to and from school.

Needless to say, 10+ years of Axl being a total douche hasn’t been kind to GNR fans. Also, I’m not a fan of Axl parading as Guns, without Duff, Izzy or Slash. Released, or leaked, today is the new track rumored to be from the ever-forthchoming Guns ‘n’ Roses album, Chinese Democracy, which has been delayed, yet again. Indefinitely. I heard the clip this AM, and I was impressed.

Now, if only Axl could get off his fat ass, and figure out what pills he needs to take (or stop taking) to get this 15-year project on track. The release date has been pushed back since my junior year in high school.
