The glass-half-full approach would be that perhaps somebody out there at U.S. Military Central Command is capable of being persuaded by rational arguments.
In all seriousness, you’d think that CentCom’s servers would prevent users from accessing unauthorized internet sites which just open them up to potential breach. Better to keep it all on the intranet – there is no need for federal employees to be checking their like OMG myspace mail on the taxpayers’ dime. But, that’s never stopped anyone before, I suppose.
At least it wasn’t something like http://disappeared.gov
